Launched in October 1987, ACE (Advanced Computer Entertainment) stood out as one of the UK's most forward-thinking and sophisticated multi-format gaming periodicals. Over its 55-issue publishing run spanning from late 1987 into April 1992, the magazine chronicled the transformative transition from classic 8-bit platforms like the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 to the powerhouse 16-bit era of the Amiga, Atari ST, PC, and emerging home consoles. Renowned for its analytical reviews, detailed technical benchmarks, and industry commentary, Ace remains an essential record of classic British computer culture.
This collection is curated for vintage computing hobbyists, video game historians, and collectors who want complete documentation of the 8-bit and 16-bit era without the fragility or expense of decades-old newsprint.
